Express Win Thriller in OT 135-134
MONO, ON - The Windsor Express took to the road to face off against the Orangeville A's on Saturday night at the Athlete Institute. In a month packed with home games for Windsor, this was their second and last road game of February.

Windsor started the game hot shooting over 60% from three-point range in the first half. Even with the offence clicking, Orangeville took a 31-27 lead into the 1st quarter break.

The Express were able to take control throughout the 2nd and 3rd quarters behind spot on shooting from Canadian Warren Ward.

During the 4th quarter it was former Express player Alex Johnson who led Orangeville back into the game and forced overtime.

The extra frame was just as exciting with both teams trading buckets. With 3.5 seconds remaining Windsor got the ball to it's hottest shooter, Ward, who made no mistake and hit a 3-pointer to give the Express the lead 135-134. Johnson had a shot to win it for Orangeville but was unable to convert and Windsor walked away with with the thrilling victory.

The Express, who are averaging a league-worst 95.6 points per game, saw their offence explode for 135 points tonight led by Quinnel Brown with 27.

Seven members of the Express scored over 12 points including Warren Ward and Jernard Jarreau with 22 and 21 respectively.

Justin Moss led Orangeville with 32 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists.

A quick turn around for Windsor will see them play at home on Sunday February 12th for a 2:00pm start at the WFCU Centre against the visiting Kitchener-Waterloo Titans.
