(WINDSOR, ON) – The Windsor Express has announced today the Community Champions Program courtesy of the Canadian Transit Company.

The program will see the CTC sponsoring a full bus-load of children from the west side of Windsor to attend every Express home game during the 2017-18 season. The children will each receive a ticket, food, and transportation to and from the venue. “We are very pleased to once again, for the third year, partner with the Express on this initiative” said Stan Korosec, the director of security and Canadian government relations at CTC. “Giving children from the west end the opportunity to see some exciting basketball and supporting the Express is a win win opportunity.” The Windsor Express are equally thrilled with the contribution of the CTC to the benefit of the community.

“I want to thank Stan and the Canadian Transit Company for giving the kids the opportunity to watch professional basketball in Windsor,” said Express president and CEO Dartis Willis. “This is a positive initiative we can certainly get behind.”
